MEMORY-KEEPING

Memory-Keeping is the recording of meaningful objects or photographs in a way that can continue to be enjoyed long after the object has gone. This is suitable for families dealing with loss or change, such as downsizing or moving into a retirement home, or even after a loss when special items are distributed. I have found that it can provide comfort to people to have a record of those sentimental objects. After the loss of my own parents I used this process to keep close things which I couldn't fit into my own house or life. A book containing images of special items can also be used to share memories with our older relatives.
